Now you really need to be sure to set yourself honest targets. Unachievable targets mean you might miss them early on and you will probably give in before you have given the diet a real go.

It's possible to create a long-term goal but you will also have to give yourself smaller targets. These will be concerned with little packets of weight you desire to lose as you progress.

As you see the little amounts of weight coming off and the improvements that it will bring with it you will be able to see your body being at an optimum weight. You will also begin to believe that it is something that you can actually achieve.

When we mention these intermediate targets you have to understand that you cannot be weighing yourself too regularly. This is not how to lose stomach fat. This will give you an opportunity to make changes on a relatively easy basis and give the body chance to get adjusted and to actually see some differences.

By weighing yourself daily the daily fluctuations might look like your weight has not changed. Or actually you may even weigh slightly more than the day prior if you hit the scales at a different time during the day or after you have eaten.

Don't stand on the scales for 14 days and religiously stick to a fat loss program and you will get what you desire. If you do this you will notice changes and it won't be as disheartening as seeing you weigh the same.
